And it was just true...
A friend informed me this morning at dawn, I didn't want to believe it but now I confirmed it. is hard to say something... I had my love hate relationship with Dragon Ball and there are more important and influential works in my life but I cannot ignore the impact that this man's work had on me.
Since that fateful day when I caught "Cooler's Revenge" at ATC and saw Dragon Ball for the first time in my life or how this series arrived with Sailor Moon and the Knights of the Zodiac, conforming "The Second Japanese Wave" and introduced me to the world of anime officially. Even my first steps in improving my drawing and learning about anatomy were taken by imitating Toriyama. Sadly, I don't have on hand one of my oldest drawings in life, which was precisely about Dragon Ball, to put here (nor time to draw something new either) but here is something old: Few know that the character that gives my account its name was first born as an attempt at a "manga self-portrait" in the style of Japanese mangakas. beyond the "ghost of discord/ Fnatasma de la discordia" avatar (C).
while trying to emulate what these artists did, first I basically copied the best-known avatar of Toriyama (the robot) but then I was inspired by another of his best-known representations: the one with the mask and the glasses.
Said Features would mark the birth of the character "Kabuto Gouki"(C) and its final design. (Extra: little Goku Panel that I did a few months ago for Patreon)

Tuve mi relación amor odio con dragon ball y hay obras mas importantes e influyentes en mi vida, pero no puedo dejar de lado el impacto que la obra de este hombre tuvo en mi. desde ese fatidico dia en que enganche "la venganza de cooler" en ATC y vi Dragon Ball por primera vez o como Dicha serie llegó con Sailor Moon y los caballeros del Zodiaco formado "La segunda oleada Japonesa" y me introdujo al mundo del anime de manera oficial.
incluso mis primeros pasos en mejorar mi dibujo y aprender de anatomia los di imitando a Toriyama.
Tristemente, no tengo a mano uno de mis dibujos mas viejos en la vida, que fue justamente de dragon ball, para poner aca (ni tiempo como para dibujar algo) pero aqui hay algo viejo:
Pocos saben que el personaje que da nombre a mi cuenta nacio primero como un intento de "auto retrato manga" al estilo de los mangakas nipones.
mas alla del "fantasma de la discordia" (C), intentando emular lo que hacian dichos artistas, primero copie basicamente el primer y mas conocido avatar de Toriyama (el robot) pero despues me inspire en otra de sus representaciones mas conocidas con el barbijo y los lentes. Rasgos que llegarian a marcar el nacimiento del personaje "Kabuto Gouki" y su diseño definitivo.(C)

named Minako Takeuchi will step in as the city´s new savior with
her robot :SHIRANYER G, the first female Super Robot!
But with the city, and the whole industry turning against her will
Shyranyer be able to become the official Heroe of Neo Tokyo?

Thismanga/Doujinshi was idea i came up like 20 years ago Born in 2001 when i discovered Rule 63 and trying to undestand it got me to draw my first Female X.
couple of month´s later, afetr a fw more drawings i got the crazy idea of drawing X & Zero copying the style of Mokona Apapa & Clamp´s Magic Knight Rayearth and thus 4 quick pages were born.
Apersonal project and a real landmark for me.
somethign that without the support of Patrons and Commissioners, it would never happened.
I uploaded theme here in 2010, becoming my first slightly successful post. In 2017 i used Medibang Pro to ink them and finally, 3 years ago/4 i decided to complete the manga as my first Patreon Special Content. And now is finally done and comming here! i will upload it for free (1 page per month like all other comics i do) but it will also available as a Premium Gallery, featured in full resolution.
